Sunday 15th May.
We have landed safely in the Philippines and praise God for His blessings even though we had problems the Lord was there with us all leading as we moved forward in faith.
The first Sabbath in Bayawan city was a blessing and we all were warmly welcomed by the Church members ( Family ) and it was a little taste of Heaven. Every day is hot but the cool drinks and fresh mangos make life enjoyable here.

Eight hundred Discovery News Papers have been given out to the local people and business throughout the city. This will be the very first time that the Discovery News Papers will be used throughout a city in the Philippines and will be interesting to see the response. |

Doctor Bruce and family have arrived to hold health checks and lectures. This will be also very interesting to see how the locals attend the programs.

Sunday15th May.
The first night of the series and the Lord truly blessed again in His mission. There were about 300 people that attended the first night. Many were Catholics. The Mayor of Bayawan City was there to open the series with a speech so another great blessing to see leaders of Bayawan city supporting this evangelistic series. The first nights topics was the "Garden Tomb" . Ross showed over a 100 power point slides and finishing with a 15min video clip.

Monday 16th May.
Tonight was exciting as about the same amount of people came along. The night started with a children program and then Dr Bruce run health checks followed by a 30 min health lecture. Ross then talked about the Red Sea Crossing and then run a 20min video clip to finish the evening.
The Lord is leading this series step by step and its great to depend upon Him as He will guides and open closed doors all the time.
One thing I left behind in New Zealand was a tripod for the video camera. Again we gave this to the Lord so it was the Lords problem. Eldon arrived yesterday holding a tripod in his hand. I asked him how did he know I was after a tripod for the camera. He said we had a stopover with his flight and I was impressed to buy one. He did not know why he brought it but just had this strong feeling to purchase one so he did. As you can see the Lord is working in people today and as we follow the Holy Spirit leading He will supply our needs. Thank you again for your prayers and support for this evangelistic series.

Tuesday 17th May.
Tuesday night was exciting as the numbers grew to around 350 to 400. They have brought the starting time forward so people can get home before 10pm. The free health checks were busy and Dr Bruce took a good health message after. We are taking video footage every day and should have something together by this Friday to send to a few email address. The Lord is leading and I can feel the Holy Spirit moving among the people attending. The topic was on Sodom and Gomorrah which the people really enjoyed. Please keep praying that people will keep coming and the Holy Spirit will touch lives.

Wednesday 18th May. Tonight's topic about Noah's Ark was very interesting. Ross finished again with a 15min video clip and prayer. Every night before Ross speaks its question time about the topic the night before and gifts are given to people with the right answers. The young people are very quick with answers and its a exciting time to see people so happy and enjoying the series so much. We can feel the Holy Spirit working among the people and lives are being changed. All praise be unto God for His leading as He touches peoples hearts..
Thursday 19th May. Tonight the numbers of people were down due to rain. Dr Bruce had his health talk which we all learnt something. Ross shared Daniel chapter 9 on the prophecy of Jesus first coming. People were sitting in trucks and tricycles plus many on the chairs under the cover away from the rain. Please keep praying that the power will stay on and the rain will keep away. Pray for the Holy Spirit to rain upon the people of Bayawan city and people will come to know Jesus and His truth. .
Friday 20th May. The weather is really hot and with showers the weather make us all very tired. We travel around on tricycles as we are out of the sun and get to places much faster. Each nights program is run at the National High school here in Bayawan as they have a large basket ball court that has a roof. I noticed many come without Bibles as they cannot afford them or they are Catholic church members. With the health lectures and the topics Ross is showing are truly having an impact to those attending. Please keep praying for this series here that the Holy Spirit will be poured out upon the people.
Saturday 21st May. The Sabbath church service was great and Eldon was taken away by motor bike to another smaller church of about 100 to take the sermon for the day. The evening program started with children time then into the health check and then the health lecture by Dr Bruce. Ross followed with another powerful message about the Messiah which people truly enjoyed.
Sunday 22nd May. Eldon took the health message this evening and great to see the young people getting involved. Ross took the people attending through the dream of King Nebuchadnezzar then looked at the little horn power in chapter seven. People were watching every slide very carefully and many eyes were opened for the first time to the understanding of last day events. The numbers were down a little more due to rain again.

Monday 23rd May: As we arrived the young children meet us all with big smiles and happy faces as normal and keen to help with the health checks. Ross shared this evening with the people the message of the new covenant in the New Testament. Touched on the change of God's law and the Sabbath question. People were very quite and some were taking notes. This is very new to many of the people attending. We also talked to some of the Bible workers and had updates from them.
Tuesday 24th May. Again the health check followed but the heath lecture. Ross topic was the Mark of the Beast. and 666. I noticed the people who were attending were very quite and following along with great interest. Most of these people are new to the word of God and as Ross shared the Bible and history their understanding of last day events came alive. Looks like the number have come back up a little with around about 250 attending each night. Another reason the numbers have dropped is because its the start of the rice planting season and people are busy planting rice long hours.
Wednesday 25th May. Tonight subject was on America in Bible Prophecy. First he quickly reviewed Daniel two and chapter seven of Daniel followed by the little horn power. After 30 minutes Ross moved into the history of America and how in the last days there will be two major world powers controlling the nations of the world. We could see lighting flashing around with thunder but we prayed it would not rain until Ross had finished his talk as many were sitting out side on motor bikes and trucks. Praise God for answering our prayers as they closed the night prayer then the rain start falling. Ross was on his loan motor bike and 5 minutes back to the motel before the rain came down heavy.

Thursday 26th May. Well the rain did not come and the night was perfect. After Eldon took the health lecture Ross shared about the earthy sanctuary and then moved into the 2300 day prophecy on what is happening in the heavenly sanctuary. Judgement is going on so today is the day to decide for Jesus.
Friday 27th May. Sabbath evening and another great sermon by Ross. A sermon on salvation in Christ and today in the day to except Him and not to wait.
Heavens doors are open wide so come in today and have eternal life in Christ Jesus. .

Saturday 28th May. Sabbath sermon was on Heaven. What is it like and its our new home for those who except Christ as their personal Saviour. After a great lunch we all went down to the ocean to see 58 people give their heart to the Lord through baptism. This was truly a high Sabbath and we could feel the Holy Spirit hovering over the people. This was truly a beautiful time to see sinners coming to Christ and having salvation.
