Thursday 6th April.
We have arrived in Davao and everything has been well planed before we arrived. Both Ross and I have sermons this Sabbath in two of the largest churches in Davao city so a blessing to be able to share God's love to all here in Davao. The evangelistic series starts this Sunday evening so please prayers for the weather and the Holy Spirit to draw people each night.

Sabbath: 8th April.
Ross took a sermon in one of the largest churches here in Davao and I preached at the church next to the mission office which has over 200 members. In the evening we were taken to see the Hope channel transmitter high on a hill in the center of Davao city. They run the Hope TV station and Hope radio from this one please which reaches out to thousands of people. Tonight the evangelistic series starts and this will be filmed and aired on the Hope channel which will be a great blessing to all.
We also talked to one Pastor who was been working the last three months with Bible workers preparing the ground work for this series. May the Holy Spirit be poured out as we step out in faith to serve the Lord again this year.

The first evening the evangelism series started well with more than 250 people attending. The men's choir sang before and after Ross spoke on the "Garden Tomb". I'm sure the numbers will increase in the following days as the people attending were so blessed by what Ross shared. The Hope channel as there with two cameras filming this wonderful series. We are still having trouble with our cameras but with more prayer the Lord will sore out these problems.

Monday 10th April.
This morning there was a meetings with Pastors and looking at ways to grow this series. There had been issues with transport but now had been sorted. It was very positive and we could feel their excitement. After this meeting there was another meeting with 10 Bible workers. A time for sharing and prayer for this series. These Bible workers has a real passion to reach the lost and give there best to their Master. Praise God for faithful church members.

The numbers are still growing each night as people are sharing this series with their friends. The sermon I was to take in a large church on Wednesday night was cancelled buy Pastor Jerry ( Davao Mission President ) when I told him about this. He told all people to come to this series instead. They have also opened up a class room for the children

Wednesday 12th April.
Again the numbers have grown a little more. There must be app 350 people now attending and we were told half would be non-Adventists. Praise be to Gods.
Ross started the meeting speaking in their local language as a welcome and they people enjoyed the few words he shared. The people are very friendly and keen to hear the word of God. They say its so different from any other series they have heard and it shows how true the Bible is and we can trust God's word.

We another busy night with Ross starting more on prophecy. Ross shared about Jesus coming and how the Jews did not except Him. The numbers were maybe a little lower because of the Easter weekend and also rain that fell. We are not worried as we all have committed this to the Lord and trust in Him completely.
Friday 14th April.
Friday has been busy with filming and editing so we can send back some footage to the Hillcrest International Church. Tonight's topic was on sign's of Jesus second coming which was very be very interesting for most people.The number of people attending was high and around 500 and not many spare seat left.
Sabbath 15th April.
Sabbath was another busy day with Church in the morning and then the evangelistic series in the evening. Still high numbers turned up and Ross went through Daniel two and Daniel seven. Tomorrow night will be on the little horn power which will be another very interesting topic. We need prayer and plead with the Lord to lead in all things and the Holy Spirit to be poured out upon all who attending.

Sunday 16th April.
Last night Ross shared about the little horn power from Daniel seven and the book of revelation which was so interesting who were from the Catholic faith. The numbers were down which was disappointing but this is the Lords work and not ours. We know many are called but many will not decide to follow Jesus in love and truth. The Bible workers are so faithful bringing people along each night to this series that you can see they truly love the Lord. We praise the Lord that we can be a part of His team again this year and serve Him in a small way. Please keep praying that God's Holy Spirit will be poured out and His will be done.
Monday 17th April.
Last night was interesting as Ross shared about the old and new covenants in the Bible. He touched on God's law and how the Catholic church had changed them and how many churches today are not keeping God's new covenant. The Pastors are saying this series is deep and very good for all those attending. We are seeking God is prayer and ask for Him to lead and to touch lives.

Tuesday 18th April.
Another great evening last night and the numbers have increased again and are around 350 attending. They said more non-Adventist turned up for the first time so they were truly in the deep end. The topic last night was 666 and the Mark of the Beast. Everyone was very interested and again it was a deep topic that went for 90 mins. The power point was clear as the Sabbath question came out and the change of God's law by the Catholic church. As we all seek the Lord in prayer we can see the Holy Spirit moving among the people who are attending each night. All praise be to the Lord and we humbly thank Him for using us all in a small way for His glory.

Last night was a real challenge for Ross and he is starting to lose his voice. Two of the mics stopped working as he was sharing about the Papacy and America in prophecy. One Pastor said after that he has never heard anything like this before as so deep and so much history. He said this was the first time many of the people attending heard this message and it went so well. Ross has another two nights to preach and these are important topics so we are all seeking the Lord in prayer for him and the people attending this exciting series.

Tonight topic was 2300 day prophecy and what is Jesus doing now. Ross went through the earthly sanctuary which people found very interesting. Number were down a little but still many attending every night. Tonight people will be called to come forth if they would like to be baptized and they will be baptized Sabbath afternoon. Again we are asking for God's will to be done and the Holy Spirit to be poured out on all the people.

Last night topic was on God's last day church. So many churches so how can you tell which one is right? We looked at the dark ages and how the churches came out learning more truth one step at a time. God's last day church will have the gift of prophecy and will keep all of God's Ten Commandments. It will take the gospel throughout the entire world as one movement sharing Bible truth and God's every lasting love for mankind. At the end of the message Ross called those who want to except Jesus as their Saviour and wanted to be baptised to come forward. About 100 came forward and there was much rejoicing on earth and in Heaven as the lost have found their Saviour Jesus Christ. We praise the Lord for His goodness and we give Him all the glory. .

What a high Sabbath. Church started at 8am and the Davao Mission President,Pastor Jerry took the talk on the 28 fundamental beliefs of the SDA Church which lasted for an hour. Music and the Health message then Ross spoke on "What Heaven is like" which lasted for an hour and finished with another call for people to come forward and give their hearts to the Lord through baptism. We all praised the Lord as we saw people moving forward in faith to commit their lives to Christ through baptism.
After lunch we all were transported to a swimming pool where 102 people were baptised into Christ. Just before we arrived in Davao another 56 were baptised from the support from Philippines Missions in New Zealand. After we left and returned home another 54 were baptised into Christ. Thank you all for your love and offerings which made this possible. The day was perfect and after Sabbath there was rain with thunder and lighting. A total of 212 have been baptised so all praise be to God for His blessings and we all feel humbled that we were allowed to be part of His team again this year.
