Sta Catalina in the Southern Philippines.

                        September 2019 Evangelist Series.

​Pastor Wolfgang and his wife have arrived in Sta Catalina in the Southern Philippines to start the 2019 series. 
This is a city with almost ​one million in population and would be about the population of the city of Auckland in New Zealand.
Pr Wolfgang and his wife Lyn Joy spent two weeks in Sta Catalina of the Negros Oriental and Siquijor Mission, Philippines. They run an evangelistic campaign over 13 night. The attendance was great with 70-100 children and about 80 adults coming to the nightly meetings.
Five laymen assisted in the groundwork. "It was a very blessed experience, since a great number of them were unchurched", says Pr Wolfgang.
"One lady was 8 months pregnant when she came every night. Then she went into hospital and gave birth. 3 days later she was among those who got baptised on Sabbath Sep 14" added Pr Wolfgang.
Altogether 71 precious people started a new life in Christ and confirmed it through baptism.
The enemy tried hard through a typhoon and heavy rains to close down the meetings, but the people kept coming. In the end he gave up and we had a peaceful baptism.
Praise God that the harvest is still going on.​
