Authority within the Catholic Church

Jesus Christ is the head of the church.

​Adventist believe:  

Adventists believe Jesus Christ is the head of the church and accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. ​

                   For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.   Ephesians 5:23
