Christ’s Bodily Resurrection and Return:
CHRIST’S RESURRECTION:
The Watchtower Society teaches that Jesus Christ was with a body but as He went into the clouds to Heaven He become an invisible spirit being and will return in this manner and become flesh and blood upon returning to earth again.
The Watchtower tell us: Jesus was raised a spirit creature and he returned to heaven. ( See below.)

See study on 1 Peter 3:18: Preached to the spirits in prison.
Nowhere in the Bible does it say God resurrected Jesus as a spirit creature.
Scriptures does not support any of these quotes below.
The Bible however teaches that Jesus was raised with a body and that He will visibly return in a glorious body which “every eye will see”.
A BODILY RESURRECTION:
1. Christ’s Prophecy.
John 2:29-22(NWT) “...Break down this temple, and in three days I will raise it up... But he was talking about the temple of his body”.
2. Christ’s Own Testimony.
Luke 24:37-43(NWT) “...they were terrified... imagining they beheld a spirit. So he said to them:... ‘See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself feel me and see, because a spirit does not have flesh and bones just as YOU behold that I have.’”
3. Thomas’s Testimony.
John 20:25-29 (NWT) Thomas believed in Christ’s resurrection only after Jesus said to him (v. 27) “Put your finger here, and see my hands and take your hand and stick it into my side, and stop being unbelieving but become believing.”
Jesus did not lie to Thomas. He was not a spirit that needed to have a “materialized” body!
RESURRECTED BY THE SPIRIT:
Romans 8:11. (NWT) “...the spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead...”
1 Peter 3:18. The Emphatic Diaglott and the KJV render this text “by the Spirit” which is consistent with Romans 8:11.

Their use of the scripture to support their position is incorrect because this verse does not say that He was raised a spirit creature. It says that He was "put to death in the flesh but made alive by the Spirit".
What does that mean? Quite simply, it means that Jesus was raised in an imperishable body. This is what 1 Cor. 15:35-45 says when it refers to the body as being sown perishable, but raised imperishable; sown in dishonour and raised in glory; sown a natural body and raised a spiritual body, etc. Jesus was the "Last Adam" - a life-giving spirit. Paul is typifying the resurrection body. In this passage Paul is talking about the resurrection of all people. All Christians will be raised in physical bodies. It is said the same of Jesus.
CHRIST’S BODILY RETURN:
Philippians 3:20-21. (NWT) “the heavens, from which place also we are eagerly waiting for a saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will refashion our humiliated body to be conformed to his glorious body...”
1 John 3:2 (NWT) “...We do know that whenever he is made manifest we shall be like him, because we shall see him just as he is..”
Hebrews 9:28 (NWT) “...and the second time that he (Christ) appears”.
Revelation 1:7 (NWT) “Look! He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him...”
Matthew 26:64 (NWT) “...YOU will see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of power and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
Matthew 24:30 (NWT) “...and then all the tribes of the earth ... will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of’ heaven with power and great glory.”
Note: The last two texts refer to evil men who have no eye of spiritual understanding but see Him coming.
Acts 1:11(NWT) “This Jesus ... will come thus in the same manner as You have beheld him going into the sky.”

1 Timothy 2:5. For there is the one God and one Mediator between God and men, a man, Christ Jesus.

This Jesus will return visibly and bodily.
