What kinds of programs do we run?
We run two different types of evangelistic meetings.
1, An evangelistic series illustrated by means of power point slides projected onto a large screen.
These meetings are conducted either by a Pastor or by a person with a good knowledge of the Bible.
2, A recorded series by a well known evangelist (such as a Kenneth Cox) delivered by data projector,
and followed by a question and answer segment.
All programs will be Christ centred. The vision is that people will be led to accept Christ as their personal Saviour and to be baptised into the church.
What is the cost of a program that we run?
This depends on the size of the program and what is involved. A small mission can start at $2000 upwards to a larger program. In the Philippines a few dollars can go a long way. Remember 100% of the funding goes toward the evangelism. This means no air fares or living cost for any participant comes out of your donation.
What do the costs cover?
Bibles and other Christian books.
Advertising. (Fliers, hand outs and street banners).
Hospitality (Drinks and finger food for after the program).
Maybe transport costs. Sometimes we may need to pay hire for a hall or place to run the series.
What about follow up work after the series is finished?
Its a good idea to fund an active lay church member so they can follow up the contacts and carry on with Bible studies. Church layman cost very little and they have a real passion to win souls for Christ.
Our aim would be to go back after one year and run another smaller series and encourage the new members.
Who can get involved?
Anyone person or group who would like to run or support this type of work. They would need to find their own funding but we are wiling to prepare the ground work. Being involved in one of these programs will change your life for ever.
If I funded a program would we run it?
Yes! We would love to do this. We have Pastors and other great speakers who we could arrange to fly in and run the program. We would keep you up to date with news letters, video clips, pictures and through Skype. We would like you to feel part of the team even though you are not there.
If I donate can I be sure my donation goes to the mission project?
All donations go into our church account under "Philippines Missions" and the church board oversees these funds. All project costs must be accounted for and is prayerfully used for the mission project only.
