Did you know that there is only one way to salvation?
John 14:6 NKJV. I am the way the truth and the life, no man comes to the Father but by Me.
Acts 4:12 NKJV. Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
John 17:2 NKJV. You have given Him authority over all flesh, that He should give eternal life to as many as You have given Him.
Do you know why we need to be saved?
If we are not saved we cannot escape the penalty of death that comes to mankind as a result of sin. We are all drowning in a sea of sin. No sinner shall be saved. Therefore we need to be saved from our sins; from the power of sin and from the penalty of sin. No sinner will enter into heaven. There shall not enter anything that defiles.
Revelation 21:27 NKJV. But there shall by no means enter into it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination, or a lie, but only those written in the Lambs Book of Life.
Matthew 15:19-20 NKJV. For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies; these are the things which defile a man....
1 Corinthians 6:9-10 NKJV. Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, will inherit the kingdom of God.
Did you know that because we are sinners we are all condemned to eternal death?

How does Jesus save us?
Jesus paid the penalty for our sin and set us free from condemnation. We are condemned to death because we have broken God’s laws. But the righteous life of Jesus may be credited to us: so we will no longer be judged sinful. We may covered with Jesus perfect life. We may be credited with His righteousness; which is the righteous life He lived while here on earth.
Romans 8:1 NKJV. There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
Romans 5:8 NKJV. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Will everyone be saved?
No. The Bible is clear that unrepentant sinners will not be saved. They will be judged worthy of eternal death.
Revelation 21:8 NKJV. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.
What did Jesus say about being born again?
Romans 3:10 NKJV. As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one.
Romans 3:23 NKJV. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
1 John 3:4 NKJV. Whoever commits sin also commits lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness.
How does Jesus save us?

What did Jesus say about being born again?
Jesus said to Nicodemus, Most assuredly I say to you, “Unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3: 3, In other words, unless you are born again you cannot be saved.”
John 3:7 NKJV. Do not marvel that I said to you, “You must be born again.”
How are we born again? What does that mean?
Being “born again,” means turning away from an old life of sin, to follow a life of obedience.
1 John 5:18 NKJV. We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself and the wicked one does not touch him.
1 John 2:29 NKJV. ..... Everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him.
How do we turn away from sin?
We confess our faults to the Lord and receive His forgiveness. Then we live a new life in Christ.
1 John 1:9 NKJV. If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Jude 24 NKJV. Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy; to God our Saviour who alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power.
What does God say about believing in Jesus?
John 3:15 NKJV. That whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
John 3:16 NKJV. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
What does the word of God say about having faith in Jesus?
John 3:7 NKJV. Do not marvel that I said to you, “You must be born again.”
How are we born again? What does that mean?
Being “born again,” means turning away from an old life of sin, to follow a life of obedience.

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the lord in the air. And thus shall we always be with the Lord.
Didn’t the thief on the cross receive eternal life as soon as he died?

No. But while alive the thief did receive the promise of eternal life. Jesus told him that very day, while they both hung on crosses, that he, this thief, would go to paradise. Or in other words, would be saved. Luke23:43 NKJV.
If we are safe to save, will our names will be in the Book of Life?
Yes. God says all whose names are in the Book of Life will be saved.
Revelation 3:5 NKJV. He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

What do we need to do, to accept Christ as our Saviour?
We need to come to Him. Like the thief on the cross we need to confess our belief in Jesus.
We need to be converted.

How do we do this?

We need to come to Him. Like the thief on the cross we need to confess our belief in Jesus.

We humbly submit to following Him. We invite Him into our heart and into our life in prayer. We need to commit to living in a way that will glorify God.

We are to work out our own salvation with fear and trembling....Philippians 2:12 NKJV.
The big question is will He accept me?
Jesus says, “I stand at the door and knock”.... That door is the door to your heart.
Revelation 3:20 NKJV. Behold I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him, and he with Me.
How can I have confidence that I will be saved?
By faith, believe His word.
John 14:1 NKJV. Let not your heart be troubled you believe in God, believe also in Me.
Hebrews 11:6 NKJV. But without faith it is impossible to believe Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him diligently.
