The Three Heavens.
Many people think that there is only one heaven and that is where God lives.
Let's go to Gods word the Bible and have a look what God has to tell us.
1st Heaven.
Gen 1:6-8. This is the atmosphere where the clouds and birds fly.
Dan 2:38. The birds of the heaven He has given them into your hand, and has made you ruler over them all.
Rev 19:17. All the birds that fly in the midst of heaven.
2nd Heaven.
Psalm 8:3. When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained.
Rev 6:13. And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its figs.
3rd Heaven.
2Cor 12:2-4. God knows such a one was caught up to the third heaven. He was caught up unto Paradise.
Luke 23:43. And Jesus said to him, Assuredly I say to you today, you will be with Me in Paradise.
