Which Day is the Sabbath Day?
God has given His people 10 commandment.
(Exodus 20, Deuteronomy 5). The fourth Commandment asks us to remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. These laws of God are Commandments not suggestions.
The Catholic Catechism also has 10 commandments. But they are not exactly like God’s Ten Commandments. The Roman Catholic Church has removed the second, changed the fourth and split the tenth in two. Note: A change in God’s law was foretold in Daniel 7:25 .

No they did not. 40 years after Jesus death on Calvary Jerusalem was besieged; Jesus had warned his people to pray that their flight be not in winter or on a Sabbath day. The people who remembered what Christ had told them fled from the city and were saved. This shows us that the Sabbath was still to be in force 40 years after Jesus death. Matthew 24:20.
Isn’t it more convenient to honour God on Sunday?
Most religions try to do this but disobeying God’s express commands is not honouring Him. There is nothing wrong with Gods 10 commandments and the Sabbath He gave to us. The problem is with Gods people.
Why does the Bible say that the Sabbath is a sign between God and His people?

It says this because in keeping the Sabbath holy, we obey Him, we serve Him and belong to Him. It is Satan who wants people to disrespect God’s commandments. He has instituted a false Sabbath. Those that trample on God’s law follow Satan, and belong to him. Therefore honouring God’s Sabbath is a sign of obedience to God.

These were the civil and religious laws given by God to Moses. Moses wrote them on parchment and placed them in the side of the Arc of the Covenant. They are entirely different to God’s Ten Commandments, which were written in stone, by the finger of God and placed inside the Arc of the Covenant.
Don’t we have to obey the laws of the land and the follow the example of church leaders?
It is best that we follow God and not man. The Bible is our only sure guide. Matt 4:4.

No. God says in times of ignorance He overlooks, However He expects us to live up to the knowledge that we are given. He is a righteous judge, and knows the hearts of all people. Acts.17:30

For as the new heavens and new earth I will make shall remain before Me says the Lord, so shall your descendants and your name remain. And it shall come to pass that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another all flesh shall come to worship before Me. Isa 66:22-23.
John the beloved disciple said, We know Him if we keep His commandments. 1 John 2:3, 4.
He who keeps His commandments abides in Him. 1 John 3:24.
Will you heed the words of Christ?
He who keeps My commandments is he who loves Me. John 14:21. If you keep My commandments you will abide in My love. John 15:10.
By keeping the Sabbath are we saved ?
No, that is not the reason we keep the Sabbath holy. We keep the Sabbath NOT to be saved but because we are saved. We love our Lord and want to obey Him.
